BOG-WALKING TRIP- UNIQUE IN THE WORLD
This is something you will not see in everyday life!

Bog walkMires and bogs have always been somehow mysterious and impenetrable to us. Who would not have heard the stories about flickering lights that misguide wanderers to the swamp or treasures hidden in sloughs. These landscapes, for long underestimated and even despised, have become even more valuable in our rapidly changing world. Earth and water meet in marshes, creating a new association. Wetlands – meaning bogs and mires – are the transitional areas of land and water environments, being one of the most peculiar environments in the world. To get to know them better there are built long boardwalks and observation towers to see picturesque views. We take a bus trip to Viru bog, then walk with the skilled guide on the bog trail. Those who like can climb up to the observation tower (about 40 steps). After the unique bog hike, there is time for lunch. After the bus ride back to Tallinn you have time to do some shopping. Bus can either take you to the city centre or bring you back to the cruise ship.
